1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, installing, or using Tawasaw (the App ), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the Terms ).
If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Users must be at least 16 years old to register. The App will not permit registration under this age.

2. Service Description - Religious Ranking Platform

What is Tawasaw?

Tawasaw is a religious ranking and improvement platform designed to help Muslims assess their religious knowledge and practice, receive personalized improvement tasks, and connect with similar users for spiritual support and growth.

How the Platform Works:

· Religious Assessment Quiz: Upon registration, you must complete a comprehensive quiz that assesses your religious knowledge and practice. This quiz can only be completed on the registration day.

· Rank Assignment: Based on your quiz responses, you are assigned an initial rank (1-10) that reflects your current level of religious knowledge and practice.

· Personalized Tasks: You receive daily and weekly improvement tasks tailored to your rank, designed to help you progress to higher levels.

· Group Matching: You are automatically matched with other users of similar rank, preferred language, gender, and time zone to form support groups (maximum 5 members per group).

· Progress Tracking: Your task completion, weekly evaluations, and rank progression are tracked. You can advance to higher ranks by consistently completing tasks and achieving weekly goals.

· Social Features: Connect with group members, send messages, schedule meetings via Zoom, and support each other's spiritual journey.

Important:

· By using Tawasaw, you acknowledge that this is a religious ranking platform that requires quiz completion and consent to data processing for rank calculation, group matching, and task assignment.

· The quiz collects sensitive personal data (religious beliefs) under GDPR Article 9. By completing the quiz, you provide explicit consent for this data processing.

· You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account or disabling specific features (group matching, task assignment) in Privacy Settings.

2. About Tawasaw

Tawasaw is a privately-operated Islamic community and self-development platform that:

lets users take a quiz to assess their religious level;
assigns a rank and tasks for improvement;
enables interaction through friends, groups, and chat; and
allows reporting, moderation, and community support.

The App may send you push notifications to alert you of new messages, meeting reminders, task updates, and other app activities. You can manage notification preferences in your device settings or within the App.

The App is operated privately (not a registered company) by the data controller reachable at tawasawapp@gmail.com.

2.1 Group Features and Management

Group Names and Rank Visibility:

When a group is created (through automatic assignment, manual creation, or during registration), the group name is automatically generated in the format: "[Language] [Rank] Group" (e.g., "English Pathfinder Group", "Arabic Lightseeker Group")
The rank in the group name reflects the group's fixed rank level, which is determined when the group is created
Group admins can edit the group name at any time from the group details screen
Admins may choose to remove or modify the rank from the group name if desired
However, the group's underlying rank level (used for matching purposes) remains unchanged regardless of name changes

Ways to Join Groups:

There are three ways to join groups in Tawasaw:

Automatic Assignment: The system automatically matches you with suitable groups based on your rank, language, gender, and timezone
Join via Group Code: You can join a specific group by entering its unique group code, which is shared by group members or admins
Create Your Own Group: You can create a new group and invite others to join via the group code

All three methods respect your "Allow me to join groups" privacy setting. If you disable this setting in Privacy & Security settings, you cannot join or create groups through any method.

Group Member Management:

Voting to Remove Members:

Any group member can initiate a vote to remove another member from the group
A member will be removed from the group only if ALL members vote to remove that member (unanimous consent required)
This is a democratic process - unanimous consent is required for removal
Group admins cannot remove members unilaterally without a unanimous vote from all group members
If you are removed from a group, you will receive a notification
Removed members can join other groups via group code or through the auto-assign feature
Removed members cannot rejoin the same group they were removed from

Admin Rights:

Any group member can transfer admin rights to another member within the group
Group admins can manage group settings including: group name, meeting schedules, meeting agendas, and Zoom links
Admins cannot remove members without a unanimous vote from all group members

3. How Rank is Calculated and Used

Rank Calculation:

· Your initial rank (1-10) is calculated based on your responses to the Religious Assessment Quiz completed during registration.

· The quiz assesses various aspects of religious knowledge and practice, including prayer habits, Quran recitation, Islamic knowledge, and spiritual practices.

· The quiz can be completed any day after registration. Once you complete the quiz, you cannot retake it. To retake the quiz, you must delete your account and create a new one.

· Your rank is stored and used throughout your use of the platform.

How Rank is Used:

· Task Assignment: Your rank determines which daily and weekly tasks you receive. Tasks are specifically designed for each rank level to provide appropriate guidance for your spiritual growth.

· Group Matching: Your rank is used to match you with other users of similar levels. The matching algorithm considers rank, preferred language, gender, and time zone (±2 hours) to create compatible support groups.

· Progress Tracking: Your rank progression is tracked over time. You can advance to higher ranks by consistently completing tasks and achieving weekly goals (80%+ completion rate).

· Rank Display: Your rank is visible to other users in groups, friend lists, and messages (unless you disable "Show my rank to other users" in Privacy Settings).

Rank Progression System:

· Weekly evaluations occur at 12pm user local time on days 8, 15, 22, and 29 of each 28-day cycle.

· If you achieve 80%+ task completion for 4 consecutive weeks, you advance to the next rank.

· If you fail to meet the 80% threshold, your rank may be reset, and you'll restart from week 1. The quiz cannot be retaken. To retake the quiz, you must delete your account and create a new one.

· If you are inactive for 48+ hours (no task completion) while having overdue daily tasks, your rank progress may be automatically reset, and you'll restart from week 1 at the same rank.

· You can manually reset your rank at any time via Profile Settings → "Reset Rank" button.

4. Your Rights and How to Exercise Them

Under GDPR and applicable privacy laws, you have the following rights regarding your personal data and use of the platform:

1. Right to Delete Your Account:

· How: Settings Screen → "Delete Account" button

· Effect: Permanently deletes all your personal data including account information, quiz results, rank, task history, group memberships, messages, and donation history

· Immediate: Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone

2. Right to Withdraw Consent:

· Disable Group Matching: Privacy Settings → Uncheck "Automatically join groups"

· Disable Task Assignment: Privacy Settings → Uncheck "Assign personalized tasks"

· Complete Withdrawal: Delete your account or contact tawasawapp@gmail.com

· Note: Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal

3. Right to Reset Your Rank:

· How: Profile Settings → "Reset Rank" button

· Effect: Resets your rank, task history, and progress, but preserves your account, groups, and messages

· Progress Restart: Your progress will restart from week 1 with the same rank. The quiz cannot be retaken. To retake the quiz, you must delete your account and create a new one.

4. Right to Disable Features:

· Hide Rank from Others: Privacy Settings → Uncheck "Show my rank to other users"

· Disable Notifications: Device settings or App notification preferences

· Leave Groups: Group Details → "Leave Group" button

5. Other Rights (GDPR Articles 15-22):

· Right to Access: Request a copy of your personal data

· Right to Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data

· Right to Data Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format

· Right to Object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests

· Right to Restrict Processing: Request limitation of data processing in certain circumstances

· Right to Lodge a Complaint: File a complaint with your local data protection authority

· Exercising your rights is free of charge (unless requests are excessive or repetitive)

5. Account Creation and Security

You must provide accurate information (name, country, gender, DOB, language, and email).
You may register and log in using your Google account ("Sign in with Google"). When you do so, we will receive your name, email address, and optionally your profile picture from Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. Your use of Google's services is governed by Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
You must notify Tawasaw immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may delete your account at any time within the App.

Tawasaw reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Permitted Use

You may use the App solely for lawful personal use consistent with its religious-development purpose.

You expressly agree that you will not:

Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App or any part thereof;
Copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the App;
Use any automated means (including bots, scrapers, or data mining tools) to access or collect data from the App;
Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices (including copyright and trademark notices) from the App;
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App, other users' accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the App;
Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks;
Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the App;
Use the App for commercial, political, or advertising purposes;
Post or transmit harmful, obscene, defamatory, or illegal material;
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users;
Use the App to promote hatred or discrimination against any group;
Share other users' personal information without consent; or
Attempt to interfere with the App's security or servers.

5. Community Guidelines & Acceptable Behaviour

To maintain a respectful Islamic community, users agree to follow these guidelines:

Respect and Courtesy

Communicate kindly; avoid insults, ridicule, or personal attacks.
Do not debate or mock anyone s level, rank, or religious understanding.

Appropriate Content

No profanity, sexual or violent material, extremist promotion, or misleading religious content.
Discussions should remain constructive, educational, and free from sectarian hostility.

Strictly Prohibited Topics in Groups and Meetings

The following topics are strictly prohibited in all group messages, direct messages, and group meetings (including Zoom meetings):

Political discussions: No discussions about politics, political parties, political leaders, elections, governments, or political ideologies of any kind.
Extremist content: No promotion, support, or discussion of extremist ideologies, terrorist organizations, violent extremism, or radicalization of any form.
Sectarian debates: No divisive sectarian discussions, debates about Islamic schools of thought, or content that promotes hostility between different Muslim communities.
Hate speech: No content promoting hatred, violence, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
Controversial current events: No discussions about wars, conflicts, controversial news, or divisive social issues that may lead to arguments or hostility.
Illegal activities: No discussion, promotion, or coordination of any illegal activities, including but not limited to terrorism, violence, fraud, or any criminal conduct.

Purpose of Groups and Meetings: Groups and meetings are intended solely for spiritual growth, religious learning, mutual support in faith, and completing improvement tasks. All discussions must remain focused on personal religious development, Islamic knowledge, and constructive spiritual support.

Enforcement: Violation of these prohibitions will result in immediate content removal and may lead to account suspension or permanent termination without prior warning. We reserve the right to report serious violations (including terrorism-related content or illegal activities) to law enforcement authorities.

Privacy and Safety

Never share others private messages or information without permission.
Report harassment, threats, or inappropriate behaviour via the reporting feature.

Integrity and Honesty

Do not falsify quiz answers or manipulate ranks.
Do not impersonate any person or organisation.

Violation of these guidelines may lead to warnings, suspension, or permanent account removal at Tawasaw s discretion.

6. Moderation and Reporting

Users may report content or other users that breach these Terms.
Reports are reviewed by the Tawasaw team.
The team may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts.
Severe or repeated breaches may result in permanent deletion.
You may appeal moderation decisions by emailing tawasawapp@gmail.com.

Tawasaw reserves the right to remove any content without prior notice if deemed harmful, illegal, or contrary to Islamic values or community standards.

7. Donations

Tawasaw is provided free of charge, and we rely on voluntary donations from our community to maintain and improve the Service. Donations help us:

Maintain and improve the service
Keep the app free and ad-free for all users
Develop new features and functionality
Cover server and infrastructure costs
Support development and hiring of additional team members

Donation Methods: All donations are processed through Google Play Store in-app purchases. We do not process payments directly or store your payment information. All payment processing is handled securely by Google Play Store in accordance with their terms and privacy policy.

Donation Options: One-time donations (€2, €5, €10, or custom amount) and monthly recurring donations/subscriptions (€2, €5, €10 per month).

Voluntary Nature: Donations are completely voluntary. You are not required to make a donation to use Tawasaw. All features of the App are available to all users regardless of whether they have made a donation.

Non-Refundable Policy: All donations are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Google Play Store policies. By making a donation, you acknowledge that donations are voluntary contributions, do not entitle you to any additional features or benefits, and are final except in cases of technical error or as required by law.

Monthly Subscriptions: Monthly subscriptions will automatically renew until you cancel through your Google Play Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds for partial months.

Not Zakat: Donations to Tawasaw are not Zakat (obligatory Islamic charity). Donations are voluntary contributions to support the App's operation and development. If you wish to fulfill your Zakat obligation, please donate to qualified Islamic charities and organizations.

8. User-Generated Content

Your Content: You may create, upload, post, or transmit content through the App, including but not limited to:

Profile information and profile pictures
Messages sent to other users or groups
Group names, descriptions, and meeting agendas
Reports and feedback

Your Responsibilities: You are solely responsible for all content you create, upload, post, or transmit through the App. You represent and warrant that:

You own or have the necessary rights to use and authorize us to use all content you submit
Your content does not violate any third-party rights (including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights)
Your content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws
Your content does not contain viruses, malware, or other harmful code

License to Your Content: By submitting content to the App, you grant Tawasaw a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform your content in connection with the App and Tawasaw's business, including for promoting and redistributing part or all of the App. This license continues even if you stop using the App, but only for content that has been shared with other users (e.g., messages sent to groups).

Content Removal: We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to remove, screen, or monitor any content that violates these Terms, Community Guidelines, or applicable law, or that poses a risk of harm to users or the platform. We may also blur or add warnings to sensitive content. We are not responsible for any failure or delay in removing such content.

Prohibited Content: You may not post content that:

Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
Infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights
Contains software viruses or any other computer code designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit functionality
Impersonates any person or entity or misrepresents your affiliation with any person or entity
Promotes or encourages illegal activity or violence
Contains sexually explicit material or exploits minors
Promotes discrimination, bigotry, racism, hatred, or harm against any individual or group
Violates any local, state, national, or international law

Monitoring and Enforcement: We have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor all content. We may investigate violations and take appropriate action, including removing content, suspending or terminating accounts, and reporting to law enforcement authorities.

9. Intellectual Property

Ownership of Proprietary Materials

The App, including all software, code, algorithms, user interface, design, graphics, text, data, and all other elements (collectively, "Proprietary Materials"), is owned by Tawasaw and is protected by Irish and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Prohibited Uses

You are expressly prohibited from:

Copying, modifying, creating derivative works of, or reverse engineering any aspect of the App;
Using any Proprietary Materials outside the scope of this limited license;
Attempting to extract, decompile, or access the source code or underlying algorithms;
Creating competitive products or services based on the App's features or functionality.

Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of the Proprietary Materials may result in severe civil and criminal penalties and will be prosecuted to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Trademarks

Tawasaw® and related marks are trademarks of the operator. You may not use these marks without prior written permission.

Limited License to Users

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the App on your personal device solely for lawful, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of the content you personally create or upload but grant Tawasaw a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and transmit that content solely for App functionality. See Section 8 for complete details.

10. Licence and EULA Clause

By installing or using the App, you obtain a personal, revocable licence to use Tawasaw s software and related content.
You may not distribute, rent, lease, sublicense, or export the software except as permitted by these Terms.
Tawasaw may update or modify the App automatically, and continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised software.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

Google Services: The App integrates with Google services, including:

Google Sign-In (OAuth): For authentication. Your use of Google Sign-In is governed by Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Google Play Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases (donations). Your use of Google Play is governed by Google Play's Terms of Service.
Google Analytics: For app usage analytics (pseudonymised data only).

Zoom: Group admins may schedule meetings using Zoom. We store meeting schedules, links, and agendas, but we do NOT host, record, or access the content of Zoom meetings. Your use of Zoom is governed by Zoom's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Group admins are responsible for their own Zoom accounts and compliance with Zoom's terms.

Third-Party Links: The App may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, products, services, or practices of any third-party sites. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms and policies.

No Endorsement: We do not warrant, endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any product or service advertised or offered by a third party through the App or any hyperlinked website.

12. Religious Disclaimer

Tawasaw provides quizzes, ranks, and tasks for personal reflection and community motivation only.
It is not a source of religious rulings or official religious authority.
You remain responsible for your own beliefs and actions.

Task Content and Sources

The improvement tasks assigned to users are designed to encourage spiritual growth and religious practice. All tasks are designed to promote peaceful spiritual development, compassion, and ethical behavior. Tasks never encourage violence, harm to oneself or others, extremism, or any illegal activities. The platform is committed to fostering a peaceful and supportive environment for religious development. Tasks cover various categories including:

Prayer (Salah): Tasks related to establishing and improving daily prayers, learning prayer components, and understanding prayer importance.
Quran: Tasks related to Quran recitation, memorization, understanding, and reflection.
Dhikr (Remembrance): Tasks related to daily remembrance of Allah, supplications, and spiritual mindfulness.
Fasting: Tasks related to obligatory and voluntary fasting practices.
Knowledge: Tasks related to learning Islamic knowledge, studying religious texts, and understanding Islamic principles.
Character (Akhlaq): Tasks related to improving personal character, manners, and ethical behavior according to Islamic teachings.
Community (Dawah): Tasks related to community service, helping others, and sharing Islamic knowledge.
Night Prayer (Qiyam): Tasks related to voluntary night prayers and spiritual devotion.

Task Sources and Educational Resources

Task Creation: Tasks are created by the Tawasaw team based on general Islamic practices and teachings. They are designed for educational and motivational purposes only.
Educational Videos and Articles: Some tasks may include links to external educational videos (e.g., YouTube) and articles to help users understand the importance and methodology of completing the task. These resources are curated from publicly available Islamic educational content.
Third-Party Content: External videos and articles are provided by third parties (e.g., Islamic scholars, educators, content creators). Tawasaw does not create, control, or endorse the content of these external resources. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of third-party content.
No Religious Authority: Task content and associated educational resources do not constitute religious rulings (fatwas), official religious guidance, or scholarly opinions. They are general suggestions for spiritual improvement.

User Responsibility

You are responsible for verifying the accuracy and appropriateness of all task content and educational resources with qualified Islamic scholars or religious authorities.
You should consult with qualified scholars if you have questions about the religious validity, permissibility, or correct methodology of any task or practice.
Tasks are suggestions for spiritual growth and should be adapted to your personal circumstances, level of knowledge, and the guidance of qualified scholars.
Tawasaw is not liable for any consequences arising from your reliance on task content, educational resources, or any religious practices undertaken based on the App's suggestions.

Important Notice: The App is designed to motivate and track your spiritual progress, not to provide authoritative religious instruction. Always seek guidance from qualified Islamic scholars for religious matters.

13. Data Protection and Privacy

Your personal data are processed in accordance with the Tawasaw Privacy & Cookie Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
By using the App, you confirm you have read and agree to that Policy.

14. Termination

Your Right to Terminate

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the App.

Our Right to Terminate

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, Community Guidelines, or engage in conduct that harms the App or other users. In cases of serious violations (such as illegal activity, harassment, or security threats), termination may be immediate and without prior notice. For less serious violations, we will generally provide a warning or opportunity to correct the issue before termination.

Grounds for Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for the following reasons:

Violation of these Terms or Community Guidelines;
Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity;
Harassment, threats, or behavior that harms other users;
Actions that compromise the security or integrity of the App (such as hacking, unauthorized access, or distributing malware);
Posting prohibited content (such as hate speech, pornography, violence, or spam);
Impersonating others or creating fake accounts;
Repeated violations after warnings.

Appeal Process

If your account is suspended or terminated, you may appeal the decision by contacting us at tawasawapp@gmail.com within 30 days. Please include your username and a brief explanation of why you believe the decision was incorrect. We will review your appeal and respond within a reasonable timeframe. Our decision on appeals is final.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

Your right to use the App ceases immediately;
We may delete your account and all associated data without liability;
You remain liable for any obligations incurred prior to termination;
Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (including Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will continue to apply.

No Refunds

Termination does not entitle you to any refund of donations or any other compensation.

15. Warranties and Disclaimers

AS IS and AS AVAILABLE: The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
Warranties that defects will be corrected

No Guarantee of Availability: We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, accessible, uninterrupted, timely, secure, accurate, complete, or error-free. We may suspend, withdraw, discontinue, or change all or any part of the App without notice.

User Content Disclaimer: We are not responsible for and do not endorse any user-generated content. We do not pre-screen content and make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content posted by users.

Third-Party Disclaimer: We are not responsible for the conduct of any user or third party, whether online or offline. You use the App at your own risk.

Jurisdictional Limitations: Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. In such jurisdictions, some of the above exclusions may not apply to you. You may have additional rights that vary by jurisdiction.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law:

Tawasaw is provided as is and as available .
The operator makes no warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or uninterrupted access.
The operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the App.
Nothing in this clause limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or other liability that cannot be excluded under Irish law.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator of Tawasaw from any claim, demand, or loss arising from:

your use of the App,
your breach of these Terms, or
any content you upload or transmit.

18. Force Majeure

Tawasaw shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, or epidemics
War, terrorism, riots, or civil unrest
Government actions, laws, regulations, or orders
Internet service provider failures or delays
Cyber attacks, hacking, or denial of service attacks
Failures of third-party service providers (Google, AWS, Zoom, etc.)
Power outages or telecommunications failures

In such circumstances, our obligations will be suspended for the duration of the force majeure event.

19. Assignment

You may not assign, transfer, or delegate these Terms or your rights and obligations hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign, transfer, or delegate these Terms and our rights and obligations without restriction, including to any successor or acquirer of our business or assets.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if such modification is not possible, the provision shall be severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

21. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tawasaw regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings and agreements, whether written or oral, regarding such subject matter.

22. Waiver

Tawasaw may modify or discontinue features at any time.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

24. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of Ireland, without prejudice to rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection laws.

25. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution: If you have any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App, you agree to first contact us at tawasawapp@gmail.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days of receiving your notice.

Formal Proceedings: If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Ireland, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts. However, this does not affect your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.

Consumer Rights: Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the EU country in which you reside. Remove or refuse to post content that violates these Terms, Community Guidelines, or applicable law, or that poses a risk of harm to users or the platform;
Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or Community Guidelines, including using automated tools to detect and remove accounts engaged in spam, fraud, or other abusive behavior;
Limit or restrict access to certain features for users who have violated these Terms or to prevent abuse.

Platform Changes and Maintenance

Modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any features at any time. We will provide reasonable notice when feasible, except in cases of emergency maintenance, security threats, or legal requirements;
Change fees, features, or functionality. We will notify users of material changes through the App or via email;
Block IP addresses, devices, or geographic regions from accessing the App when necessary to comply with legal requirements, prevent abuse, or protect platform security;
Implement technological measures to prevent unauthorized use, abuse, or security threats.

Enforcement

Investigate suspected violations of these Terms;
Cooperate with law enforcement authorities and disclose user information when legally required or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary;
